In this literature circle you and your teammates will be walking in the shoes of Domenica Santolina Doone, "Dinnie" who has been taken by her aunt and uncle, to an international school in Lugano, Switzerland. What kind of experiences will she have? What will the other students be like? And, will "Dinnie" fit in? You and your group will have to find out.

Bloomability Ch 1-3
Now that you have read chapters 1-3 of Bloomability please post a thoughtful question for your group members to respond to. Also, if you came across a new or unknown word that you would like to share you can put it on the post too.
@ Abby I think Dinnie's Aunt and uncle took her to Switslerland so she could get away from all the bad things in her life, like Crick being in jail always moving and Stella having a baby.
@ William I think they took her to Swiserland beacuse mabey they were already going to go there with out Dinnie so they took her there.
@ Merril I think beacuse it is butiful and looks like an adventure wating to happen.
@ julia i think dinnie called it her second life because she probily gets to make new friends and go to a different school @ abby i think they take her to swizerland because thats were they used to live @william probily to get her out of the country to keep her away from her old family
I think they took Dinnie to Switzerland so she could learn a new language and so she could get away from all the bad things in her life. For example Crick being in jail and Stella having a baby. I dont think Dinnie is adjusting very well and I do think she will continue her plan to escape.
In chapter 3 at the end why do you think that she will enjoy the vast, huge and dark site?
