1. Why do you think that Aunt Sandy and Uncle Max took Dinnie to their school in Switzerland?
2. How do you think Dinnie is adjusting to being in Switzerland? Do you think she will continue her plan to try to to escape?
@Magruder,
ReplyDeleteI think the reason why Uncle Max put Dinnie in their own school is because so that they can keep an closer eye on Dinnie while she is learning so if Dinnie has any trouble, they can know and help. Dinnie isn't yet adjusted to Switzerland. She can't talk in Italian in full sentences yet but might soon. I think the escape plan isn't "big" in Dinnie's brain yet, she just started to think about it and how she might do it. I don't think she can escape and she will forget the idea of escaping and get used to Switzerland and the language Italian.

#1. I think that Aunt Sandy and Uncle Max took Dinnie to their school in Switzerland because it was very far away from the US. Dinnie's aunt and uncle probably wanted to go somewere that was far away so that Dinnie's parents couldn't find her. It was also what they probably liked.
ReplyDelete#2. I think that Dinnie is adjusting to being in Switzerland because she knows that she will be there for a long time. Dinnie probably doesn't like Switzerland, and wants to go through with the plan she made for escaping.
